Day 1

This morning seemed to start the same way they always do. Dh waking me at 4am to tell me goodbye and that he loves me. Yes thats wonderful but 4am, really?? I have such a hard time sleeping that its after 5am before i fall back asleep. As I'm really settling into a dream surrounded by wonderful things (money and men) my ungodly loud alarm starts beeping. 4 kids now have to be gotten up and ready for the buses that will arrive in about 20 minutes. Everything is great and going smoothly. Kids make their buses and I go to see if I can find the man i left behind the dream earlier. Ciersten wakes me later with a very loud Momma, Momma, Dink, Dink!! So baby up, diaper changed, drink ( dink in her words) made, she is placed on the couch with her cup of cereal to enjoy Dora. I had noticed upon getting her out of the bed that her face was swollen, but not to the point of really worrying. Now thinking back, i guess i should have been more quick to figure out what the problem was. After cleaning house for awhile, I decide its time to try to get my shower in before they notice i'm missing and want to join me. While undressing, Ciersten comes into the bathroom, pointing to her nose saying boogie! I grab some tp and go to wipe her nose...this booger is stuck! I wipe again, Nothing! Wow this thing is really stubborn. I grab her face to get a good hold and notice the booger in question is pink. Never seen that before. Upon futher inspection, this is no pink booger, its a pink flower shaped bead. Not only does my child have 1 pink flower shaped bead in her nose.....she has 2. One is pushed really far up. At this point i'm freaking out....what do i do!?!?! After trying with my nails numberous times, i have realized this jokers are really stuck! We have no tweezers in this house at all that i can find. So i call the Dr. to get her an appointment. I'm expecting to hear "bring her on in".  Instead i get, we can see you this afternoon after 1. I can't wait that long. My hair is turning grey as we speak, I keep imaging the worst possibly things happening. So i decide to hold her down and try to force them down with my fingers on the bridge of her nose. This seems to be working but i can't hold her arms back, push on her nose and dig the beads out at the same time. I need 2 more hands. So i make the call to my sister, not mentioning whats happening, just begging her to stop by for a few minutes before going to her appointment. after hanging up with her, i send her the picture from my phone i have taken. About 10 minutes later she walks through my front door asking "what the crap is in her nose?"  At this point we basically hold her down and manually remove these things from her nose as she is telling us to "leave me lone!!!" 5 minutes later i'm holding 2 beads and a very mad little girl. I could beat her for doing this to me, much less herself. I thought only boys did this kind of stuff? She is worse than any boy i have ever had but wouldn't trade her in for anything.

as soon as i learn how to post a picture, i will put up the one i have of her! hope you enjoyed my first attempt at this and look forward to more!
